Google My Business integration via booking URL

Google My Business integration via booking URL

In your business listing on Google My Business, you can not only provide a link to your restaurant website, but also for specific promotions such as table reservations or accepting online orders. Guests who are searching your restaurant online can then easily book a table directly with you.

One of the links can be favorited by clicking on the star icon and is then placed right at the beginning. That way it is more easily seen by guests.

Please note: The “URL for reservations” is not to be confused with the “book a table” button, which is linked to selected Google partners. As a resmio user, you will receive the prominent button for table reservations automatically with your registration for our system – a setup is usually not required.

1. Log in to your Google my business account with your credentials. Then, on your company page, immediately click the “Info” button in the left sidebar.

2. Scroll down and click on the “URL for Bookings” link.

3. Go to your resmio account and copy the integration link for your Google my business. You find it in your Account under “Settings” (gear icon) > “Integration & connection” > “Google, Facebook & other platforms”.

Prime example of the integration link:

(here the bold marked restaurant ID “the-fish” corresponds to your own restaurant ID in your resmio account)

4. Now add the link to Google My Business in the line “URL for bookings” and confirm the adjustments by clicking on “Apply”. The best way to test the changes is from a guest’s perspective, by googling the business listing for your restaurant and clicking on your reservation link.
