We are looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer to join our development team in Nuremberg, Germany, starting November 2026, and contribute to a modern web-based application for restaurants (get to know us).

Full-Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Frontend Focus (remote possible)

The role has a strong frontend focus, while also requiring the ability to work effectively on backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and React who is comfortable working across the full technology stack and collaborating with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Role focus:

• ~70% Frontend Development, ~30% Backend Development
• Building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and user-friendly web applications
• Working across the entire development lifecycle, from technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Collaborating with the engineering team to improve existing functionality and develop new product features

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Build reusable, maintainable, and well-structured UI components
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
• Develop and maintain backend functionality when required
• Participate in architectural and technical discussions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the frontend and backend
• Review code and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of the application

Required Skills:

• Strong professional experience in Full-Stack Web Development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid professional experience with React
• Experience with Vue.js
• Good understanding of modern frontend architecture and development practices
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
• Strong understanding of software development principles, clean code, and maintainable architecture
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Django / Python
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-based environments
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Understanding of application performance optimization

Candidate Profile:

• Several years of professional software development experience
• Strong focus on quality, maintainability, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in an existing codebase as well as developing new functionality from scratch
• Able to understand complex requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of projects and features
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of an international engineering team
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute beyond a single technical area
