  • How can I avoid being overbooked?

    To avoid overbookings, it helps to select the right settings. First of all, configure your opening hours and capacities under “Settings” > “Profile”. Here, you can define exactly how many places you wish to make available online. You can make fine adjustments to the options under “Settings” > “Reservation settings”. Enter the visit duration of the customers so that the system knows how long the places reserved are occupied. You can also set a lead time for reservations so that you can make preparations for their visit. The best way to avoid being overbooked is to also enter phone reservations into your resmio online reservation book. This makes it easy to keep an overview.

  • Do I need a website to use resmio?

    We from resmio know, your guests prefer to book through your website. That’s why we put our reservation system right there for you.
    You don’t have a website? No problem, we easily integrate with your Facebook page. Beyond that we also provide you with a website in case you don’t have one yet. Find more details here.

  • What is different for me when I use resmio?

    Using resmio equates to one thing above all: You save time. Not only are reservations automatically accepted and entered into the system, all data is also clearly presented and easy to manage. Furthermore, with each reservation, your personal customer database also grows — a key asset for each and every restaurant. And your paper reservation book? You can of course continue to use it. But you will quickly realize that it is no longer necessary.

  • How can I log in?

    If you already have an account with resmio, you can simply log in on the start page. You will find the button on the top right of our home page. Simply click on “Login” and enter your login details. Forgot your password? No problem! Simply click on “Forgotten your password?” and enter the e-mail you used when registering. Now click on “Reset my password”. You will then receive an e-mail from us within a few minutes that contains a link you can use to set a new password.   • Where can I set my opening hours?

    You can enter your opening hours on your own and edit them at any time. To do so, log in, select “Settings”, and scroll down. In this section, you can now enter your opening hours for each day of the week, as well as the number of places you wish to make available. Pay attention to ensuring that the time periods do not overlap. Example: If you have entered your opening hours for Mon-Sun as 10 am to 8 pm, it will not be possible to set the opening hours for Wednesday as 3 pm to 8 pm. Wednesday would then have two entries, and this will not be accepted by the system. How to do it correctly: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun 10 am to 8 pm; Wed 3 pm to 8 pm. Did that work? You can also check the opening hours in your widget. You will find it under “Settings” > “Integration”.

  • My restaurant is fully booked. What do I do now?

    Congratulations! When you are logged in, simply select the day under “Reservations” on which you do not wish to accept any additional reservations. Now click on “Adjust capacity” on the right. All you now have to do is enter a capacity of “0”, specify the period of time, save, and you’re done! The selected times will now be grayed out to customers, and can no longer be selected. If you wish to reserve an entire day, please select a time span of 12 am to 11.45 pm (0000-2345hrs).

  • How does an online reservation with resmio work?

    If a customer wishes to make a reservation at your restaurant, he can do this with resmio on your website or Facebook page. Using the widget, he can select a day, a time, and the number of persons. Once he has submitted the reservation, you will immediately receive a notification via text message and/or e-mail. Your customer will automatically receive a confirmation of the reservation via e-mail. You will now find this new reservation displayed clearly in your online reservation book. If the option “Send reservation reminder” is active, the customer will also receive a reminder e-mail a day before his visit. If the feedback feature is active, your guest will receive an e-mail after his visit requesting him to provide feedback. He will also be able to rate the food and the customer service. You can view the results of all feedback in your account under “Feedback”.

  • Do I need to confirm each of my reservations again?

    Yes, that is possible if you wish to do so. If you have selected the option “Confirm reservation automatically”, your customer will automatically receive a reservation confirmation. You will be notified via text message/e-mail, but do not need to take any further action. If you turn off the automatic confirmation, you will receive a notification of the reservation, and can confirm or decline it via a link in the e-mail. It is only when you do this that your customer will receive a message confirming or declining his reservation.

  • What marketing features does resmio offer?

    All customer information that is entered during reservations in your restaurant is stored in a personal customer database to which only you have access. This data forms the basis for the many marketing features we offer you. For one, you can easily send newsletters to all your customers (or a certain group of them) and inform them of any new offers, for example. However, with resmio, you can also create vouchers and event tickets and sell them directly. All these features help you encourage your customers to visit you even more frequently.

  • How does the feedback feature work?

    Every customer who reserves a table in your restaurant online will receive an e-mail requesting feedback on the day after his visit. When giving feedback, he can rate his visit, thereby providing you with important information on how you can cater to your customers even better in future. The feedback is not public, but instead only visible to you alone. Of course, you can also reply to customer feedback, and at the same time offer him a voucher for his next visit, for example. You can view all feedback you have received in the navigation under “Feedback”. Here, you can also deactivate the feedback feature if you do not wish to use it. Do you have a free account?   • How can I import customer data?

    Do you already have customer contacts from before you started using resmio? If so, you can easily integrate them into our system. First save your contacts in a .csv file. Then, in your resmio account, go to “Customers” → “More” → “Import”. Now you can upload your existing contacts and also send a newsletter to all customers at the same time if you like.   • How can I add the call-to-action button on Facebook?

  • Do I need a pc/laptop to use resmio? 

    No, it’s not necessary. resmio sends you a text message and/or email directly to your mobile phone. Be up to date, even without a pc/laptop.

  • Is there a visual table layout?

    A visual table layout is really useful, and of course we offer this option as well. You can use the layout on an iPad and via the “resmio Tables” app if you have booked the Manager package.
